How am I feeling? Angry! Why do we celebrate and name this form of eugenics as 'progress'. It is the exact opposite! It makes me so mad to see our western health systems pushing the same eugenics programs that undergirded the Nazi's in the second world war! Planned Parenthood from the US (who perform 1/3 of all abortions in America today) still runs under the same basic eugenics philosophy today.
Are we really so blind as to not see the truth? How can we allow the same mistakes to be made from only 80 years ago? Why do we not speak up about it when so many lives are already lost under it's lies?
People, it is time we pulled our self-centered minds out of our backsides and start looking past our own noses. We have become so selfish and consumed about 'my rights' that we have forgotten that we are part of families and communities! Even if you don't believe you are answerable to God, you are answerable to your families and communities.
We all carry moral responsibilities, part of which is to help protect and care for one another. Our primary purpose is not to maintain one's personal progress at the demise of others as evolution teaches us. It is a sad day when our govts fail to recognise this. Friends, let us preserve the value we place on life in the west. It is why we are where we are today in terms of development. Remove that value for life and we will decline to the levels of the undeveloped countries. Do not think development is primary economic, it is philosophical at it's roots. Eugenics will only serve to undermine this value for life under the disguise of 'compassion'. Do not be fooled!
We are already killing bubs in the womb and at times outside the womb as well. Soon it will be children under 2 ... don't believe me, research Peter Singer and when he believes a life becomes viable. Under the name of population control, sterilisation is coming back to the west with 15 year old girls now able to have it done in Oregon without parental permission by law. How is that responsible governance? If voluntary euthanasia begins, don't think the slippery slope will not lead to involuntary euthanasia for the same of saving $$$ in a health system that is under enormous pressure. What about our disabled communities? They are one of the largest targets of eugenics because they are seen more as a burden on society than valuable lives.
Speak out friends against these immoral atrocities that are already happening behind closed doors. Life is valuable! We are NOT animals as evolution teaches us! We are distinct from animals. The 2% difference between mankind and chimps makes ALL the difference. Our ability for emotions, intelligence and choosing over instinct separate us from all creation. Do not let the decay of absolute morality continue because I promise you that we will never recover from it!

Unfortunately, those who today and tomorrow seek to kill millions of unborn children, the frail, the elderly, the unloved, the handicapped and the unwanted, won't wear an obvious grey/brown/black uniformm with a Death's Head on it, and nor will these killings be done with the inefficiency of needing guards, razor wire and machine guns, along with the now crude technology of gas chambers.
No, today's killer comes with a friendly smile, promises of kindness, and the uniform of a doctor, the very person who should be protecting life becomes the one who now takes it away.
The horrors of 1939 - 1945 which played out in central Europe will never need to happen again, because they are taking place down the road from the homes of all us, quietly tucked away behind leafy fences, within the whitewashed walls of the clinic and the hospital.
There will be no Allied tanks liberating these victims, no American soldiers opening the gates to free those who survived that which their families and friends did not.
We are in this Silent War the survivors. No one made the decision to die for us, so it is we who live, having escaped the tools of our family and friends' destruction. It is we who live, the Unaborted, who alone have the opportunity to lift the black veil of Death from the eyes of our community, it is we who have the will.
There will be no liberation for the voiceless, unless we become their voices, no liberation for the weak, unless we become their strength, no liberation for the hopeless, unless we become their hope.
The Horrors of World War II may now fade into the pages of history, but the horrors of the Silent War are among us today. It is an oppression that demands a response. It is a choice, to use a misused word, that demands for either apathy or action, to leave the voiceless lives to be snuffed out forever, taking with their last heartbeat, the better part of ourselves, or a choice to permit one day the voice of the voiceless to become a roar that will one day engulf all the world.
It was easy to recognise the Nazis. It is easy to judge them. How will we be judged, and will one day millions of voices, once silent, rise up on a Last Day to testify against us, and so find us sadly wanting?

Hey, just catching up with this one now. Rather chilling reading the comments of Obama.
ReplyDeleteI recall in one of his interviews that he stated, 'I don't want my daughters punished if they make a mistake.'
Referring, of course, to them getting pregnant before they want to. To me, it's not punishment, it's a consequence. A human life, particularly a baby's, shouldn't be considered in such a negative light. It's as if they're an inconvenience, nothing more. A very sad state of affairs.
Also, I'm well aware of Peter Singer. He founded the Greens, didn't he? He's 'okay' with the idea of sexual relationships developing between animals and humans as well.
Overall, I share your indignation at the sentiments expressed in the article. It's a horrible situation we've gotten ourselves into and I worry sometimes that the effects are far reaching things we haven't even imagined yet.
